Raluca Leonte, Webhelp Romania: “The market contracted in 2020 and now we can see the expansion”

“We are in a very lucky industry and we were in a very lucky position in Romania and in the industry. A lot of things have changed during the pandemic. A change in the mindset of the buyers was the major change that we’ve experienced.

We went from outsourcer or service provider to trusted advisor, which is something that brought 10-20 percent extra value on the industry,” Raluca Leonte, CEO, Webhelp Romania said during the Romanian Business Services Forum 2021 organized by Outsourcing Today.

“I think we have the unique opportunity to drive an industry trend. Recently, we have launched an official offer which is called Webhelp Anywhere and is meant to be the perfect match between client’s expectations and employee’s expectations. Basically, we will offer the possibility to be fully virtual on a hybrid model or onsite. We will even build career paths in order to match that. I think that really, it’s a unique opportunity. The market contracted in 2020 and now can see the expansion. It’s not what are we going to manage, but how far we want to go.”
