Qualysoft Romania ended 2022 with a 55 per cent increase in turnover
The software services company Qualysoft Romania recorded a 55% increase in turnover compared to the previous financial year.
The number of employees increased by 25% as specialists were selected for key roles working on national and global projects with high complexity. Some of them, for example, are working on the digitization of ANAF in Indonesia, one of the most extensive projects in which the team of IT specialists from Bucharest is involved.
“Although the global and regional context has been difficult and will continue to remain so for at least the next six months, our company has been able to achieve its growth targets and even exceed them in certain segments. In addition to the volumetric targets achieved, we also managed to crystallize a vertical focus on areas such as Financial Services, Telecom, Retail, Energy and Utilities, Industry, etc., but also to apply the accumulated expertise in development and digitization projects, even locally. For them, we also managed to use the capacity and expertise of the group, very important in the area of turnkey solutions or in the area of low-code/no-code. At the same time, we are trying to pay more attention and will invest more and more in the development of human capital that will most likely maintain a very good retention rate, a benchmark for the local market. However, we remain cautious about this year’s prospects”, explains Radu Postolache, General Manager of Qualysoft Romania and Head of Consulting & Development Services of Qualysoft Group.
In the pessimistic scenario, the company’s turnover is expected to register an increase at the end of 2023 of approximately 20%, compared to 2022. In the optimistic scenario, in the case of the fading of economic and political tensions and the materialization of current opportunities, considerably more than those from previous years, the company can have a turnover increase of more than 35% annually.
“The year 2022 was for us a year of investment, in people, in projects, in technical development, in the design of more attractive benefit packages and, last but not least, in the loyalty of current partners. It was the first year after which we can say that we have a complete team from an operational, recruiting, delivery, sales and technical point of view. The advantage we consider we have over the competition is related to the balance between innovation, stability and budgets, aggregated in the medium and long-term potential that we try to keep in relation to customers, partners and colleagues,” adds Ramona Dimache, Service Delivery Director of Qualysoft Romania.
Currently, the Qualysoft team in Romania has reached over 80 specialists and by the end of the year it is expected to increase by 35%.
“In the next year, Qualysoft aims to grow the team with roles such as: Technical Leads and Technical Architects with focus on various technologies, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Test Manager, DevOps Lead, Infrastructure Architect, but we will also continue to grow in the software team development and testing, with a focus on the areas of .NET, JAVA, DevOps, React/Angular, C/C++ and others”, explains Ramona Dimache.
The company’s concern is involvement in large-scale projects for the digitization of global players in fields such as financial services, telecom, retail, energy, security, etc., thus, Qualysoft Romania has international exposure both directly, through customers from the US or Europe, and through the group of which it is a part. This international exposure comes with an increase in expectations at a technical level, which is why the company constantly invests in the training of its employees, through specialized training programs, both in-house and externally, by participating in local workshops and conferences, as well as and abroad.
