Accace Romania’s business increased by 40% in 2022, amid the growing need for accounting and HR consulting
Accace Romania, one of the main business consulting and service outsourcing companies in Central and Eastern Europe, reported a turnover of 4 million euros last year, 40% more than the one reported in 2021. Accace business evolution it also came against the background of an increasingly high demand from companies for consulting, respectively for the outsourcing of accounting, personnel administration and salary calculation processes.
For the current year, the company expects an increase in revenues of around 10%, in line with the evolution of the market and depending on the economic context in the country.
In 2022, the main investments made by Accace Romania were channeled towards the automation of accounting processes, personnel administration, optimizing the delivery times of results, but also towards the growth of the team, respectively the development and diversification of skills to effectively cover the expansion of the client portfolio.
Also last year, Accace successfully developed YoDA powered by Accace, the first intensive training program for students who want to pursue careers in areas such as accounting and human resources. More than 40 students from the Capital signed up, and 15 of them were selected and participated in the first pilot program developed by the company’s specialists.
“Last year was a very effervescent one, we diversified our service portfolio, refined our skills, were flexible and agile. We have positioned ourselves as a reliable one-stop-shop for our clients, who know they can turn to our specialists for integrated consulting services. This approach helped us grow beyond initial estimates. This year we expect a business growth of around 10%, considering the current economic context. But we will continue to focus on consolidating and diversifying the client portfolio, increasing the team and skills, training the new generation of consultants, and we will continue to focus on the digitization of processes”, said Laura Ștefan, Managing Director of Accace Romania.
According to the data provided by the company, in the top of the most requested services by clients last year were those of consulting in labor law, payroll and personnel administration, followed by those of accounting consulting, outsourcing of accounting processes and tax compliance. At the same time, in 2022 more and more emphasis was placed on a mix of BPO and advisory services. Thus, thanks to the company’s proactiveness in providing an end-to-end process, more and more clients who initially started with corporate consulting services (setting up a company in Romania, covering legal and fiscal requirements) have added accounting and payroll services respectively and personnel administration.
Also from the information of Accace Romania, the services with the greatest evolution of demand last year were those of personnel administration and payroll, against the background of the growth of the businesses of current clients, but also of the growth of the portfolio of international clients, with a large number of employees . Among the industries that requested the company’s services the most were IT, retail and energy, especially companies investing in renewable energy.
Regarding the investments and development plans set for the current year, the company will continue to focus on the implementation of new technologies that will make the services delivered to customers more efficient. At the same time, it will continue to develop the YoDA powered by Accace program, with the objective of reducing the skills gap that is currently registered in the market, among young people at the beginning of their professional career.
