Roweb helps digitize Seatbelt Consulting’s operations by developing custom solutions
Roweb, a Romanian end-to-end software services company, provided scalable and modern digital transformation solutions for Seatbelt Consulting, one of the largest labor protection companies in Romania, helping to quadruple efficiency on certain activities and a 15% decrease in payroll costs within the organization.
The decision to choose Roweb as partners during the digital transformation came as a result of the need of the Seatbelt management to have a flexible development team, capable of understanding the business and able to quickly adapt to the company’s requirements, offering technical solutions that reflect its internal and external needs. Roweb’s challenge thus consisted in offering a technical solution in line with the specificity of the business, the market and the dynamic needs of the client.
Seatbelt started its digital transformation process in 2018, when the local market was at the beginning of the road in this direction, especially the niche businesses. According to the company’s representatives, the decision came as a result of identifying an opportunity to modernize the business in relation to global digitization trends, not as an urgent need. However, with the advent of the pandemic, Seatbelt found itself in a beneficial position, already experiencing the benefits of the company’s digitization and being prepared for the periods of lockdown and remote work, a fact that determined stability in the business and strengthened its position as the leader of the organization.
The first steps in Seatbelt’s digital transformation were the web & mobile CRM application and the e-learning platform. After many years of using a classic manual data management system, standard procedures, monitoring the effectiveness of teams using disparate sources, etc., shortly after implementing the solutions provided by Roweb, the company began to notice the first results, both at the level of efficiency, as well as attracting new customers.
“In developing solutions for Seatbelt we had as an asset the long expertise our team has in developing complete CRM solutions in similar industries. In fact, Roweb is one of the longest-standing providers of custom software development services for organizations interested in investing in digitization, and the quality offered through our services is reflected in the long-term partnerships we have with most of our clients. We are sure that together with Seatbelt we will develop a mutually beneficial and long-term collaboration”, said Viorel Costea, CEO & Cofounder of Roweb.
“The fact that in our digital transformation process we had a team that understood our needs, preferences and industry specificity was a big plus to reach our goal in a timely manner. The Roweb team managed to meet our expectations, being a reliable partner in the digital transformation process, and our collaboration continues successfully”, said Bogdan Neagu, Owner Seatbelt Consulting.
Seatbelt achieves a 15% reduction in payroll costs by digitizing processes
The results began to appear shortly after the implementation of the two solutions, starting from the increase in the quality of services, the efficiency of certain processes, to the easier management of the team by the regional managers and the alignment of the company to an Agile approach – after about 18 months after implementation. Concretely, according to company representatives, operational efficiency on certain activities increased four times during this interval. On the other hand, at the level of profitability, Seatbelt achieved a reduction of expenses by approximately 10-15%, thanks to the relief of the work system from repetitive activities.
At the same time, as indirect results in the digitization process, the company experienced an increase in its client portfolio (thanks to more transparent and high-performance services, the system that allows for efficiency in working remotely, etc.), the loyalty of existing clients (who benefited from a guarantee additional regarding the quality of services), stability of the business also during the pandemic, respectively the consolidation of the market position (as turnover, work points and number of employees).
As a result of the results obtained, the company’s representatives aim to continue investing in this segment. Thus, Seatbelt proposes an increase of the digitalization budget by 50% in the next three years.
