Portland Trust signs pre-lease contract with Ubisoft in Bucharest-based J8 Office Park project

Portland Trust signs a pre-lease contract with Ubisoft Bucharest for 30.000 sqm within J8 Office Park located in North-Western Bucharest, Bucurestii Noi area.

Ubisoft, one of the world’s largest video game developers known for titles such as Just Dance, Assassin’s Creed, Ghost Recon or Watch Dogs, has chosen J8 Office Park as the new headquarters, as the company wants to be at the forefront of the entertainment industry. by increasing the numbers, as well as the pace of development. The A-class office building   will have approximately 24,000 square meters of office space, which will extend over six floors, with a conference room, a restaurant and a fitness center on the ground floor. In addition, Ubisoft has rented 6,000 square meters in the adjacent building, which will house the company’s teams in Bucharest.

“The video game industry is becoming a new technology and, in order to grow and integrate new trends, we must have the best working environment. We asked the Portland Trust to build our future headquarters, which will ensure the optimal climate for the needs and creativity of our teams,” said Sebastien Delen, General Manager of Ubisoft Bucharest.

The project will be completed in the summer of 2021, and the contractor is to be announced.
