Envisia and Academy – Euronext Group launch Corporate Governance in Financial Markets certification programme
A specialised programme designed for board members, executives and capital markets professionals operating in listed companies, regulated markets and high-scrutiny financial environments across Central and Eastern Europe.
Envisia announces the launch of “Corporate Governance in Financial Markets”, a specialised certification programme developed in partnership with Academy – Euronext Group, the educational pillar of the leading pan-European market infrastructure.

The programme will start on 24 September 2026 and is designed for senior professionals operating at the intersection of corporate governance, capital markets, regulation, disclosure, investor relations and sustainability. It addresses a growing need in Central and Eastern Europe for stronger governance capabilities in listed companies, financial institutions and capital markets ecosystems, where trust, transparency and accountability are essential to market maturity.
Through this partnership, Envisia and Academy – Euronext Group bring together boardroom education and capital markets expertise in a practical learning journey tailored to professionals working in regulated, transparent and high-scrutiny environments.
“Through our strategic partnership with Academy – Euronext Group, allowing this new programme to reach over 30 countries, Envisia gets the international recognition as the educational partner in professionalising the board members. Envisia takes thus an important step in extending its contribution from the Romanian board education market to the wider regional conversation on governance, capital markets and responsible leadership. By bringing direct capital markets expertise into the learning experience, this certification supports Romanian and regional professionals in engaging with the standards, practices and expectations shaping European financial markets,” said Carmen Micu, CEO & Co-Founder, Envisia
“Corporate governance has become a defining factor in the resilience, competitiveness and attractiveness of capital markets worldwide. Investors today look beyond financial performance alone; they increasingly assess how companies are governed, how boards oversee strategy and risk, how transparently information is disclosed and how organisations address sustainability, technological disruption and stakeholder expectations. In an environment characterised by geopolitical uncertainty, evolving regulation and digital transformation and growing demands for accountability, effective governance is a strategic enabler of long-term value creation and market confidence.
Through our collaboration with Envisia, our distinguished partners with a long lasting experience in Corporate Governance, we are proud to launch the first iteration of the “Corporate Governance in Financial Markets programme”, aimed at supporting the development of governance excellence across Europe and helping strengthen the region position as a trusted destination for global investment” said Daniela Biagi, Head of Academy – Euronext Group.
The programme will run yearly for a group of maximum 30 professionals and comprises 145 hours of learning, including 50 contact hours and 95 hours of individual study. It is designed as a practical learning journey anchored in the realities of European capital markets and delivered in partnership with Euronext Academy.
A distinctive feature of the programme is its direct exposure to European financial hubs. The face-to-face sessions will begin at the Milan Stock Exchange – Borsa Italiana and will conclude at the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, where participants will take part in the Capstone experience and final assessment.
The curriculum covers nine critical pillars:
- Governance Foundations in Financial Markets
- Regulatory and Market Frameworks
- Board and Senior Management Governance in Capital Markets and their Industry-Specific Regulatory Frameworks
- Governance of Investor Relations and Disclosure
