Booking Holdings Romania Center of Excellence inaugurated the renovation works of four seminar and laboratory areas of Faculty of Automation and Computer Science, University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest

The project is part of the company’s Center’s approach to investing in educational initiatives and supporting educators with the long-term objective of enabling students for the jobs of the future by developing essential skills.

The event held a discussion panel on collaboration, where Aaron Pottock, Dorina Kocsis, Dragos M. and Cristian Visan talked about a cross-functional project that was designed, built, and launched locally, with the support of business leaders. Devon Bryan was the special speaker of the event.

Anca Fotache, Center of Excellence Lead and General Manager of Center of Excellence, Booking Holdings Romania: On Tuesday, we inaugurated the renovation works of four seminar and laboratory areas within the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. The project is part of our Center’s approach to investing in educational initiatives and supporting educators with the long-term objective of enabling students for the jobs of the future by developing essential skills. Among guests: Melanie Voornhout, Somya Sharma, Corina Faurescu , Ruxandra Chiroiu, Jolie den Boer, Marnie Wilking, Noah Gay, John Herrera and Tiberiu Anghel shared their success stories, challenges and career advice. The event was wrapped up by Cristina Duta, whose presentation was truly inspirational, and she talked about courage, recognizing your worth, and how to build self-confidence in moments when challenges seem overwhelming.
