- The company has an extensive team of experts with 14 Palo Alto Networks certifications
- In 2024, cybersecurity revenues are forecast to exceed 15% of turnover
Datanet Systems, one of the main integrators of complex IT&C systems and solutions, a member of the Slovak Soitron group, becomes a Platinum level partner of Palo Alto Networks in Romania, through continuous investments in the development of the team and the accumulation of expertise.
Datanet Systems thus joins an exclusive group of partners who have reached the performance, skills and business standards requirements necessary for Platinum Innovator status within the Palo Alto Networks NextWave Channel Partner program.
The company has a team of experts who hold 14 certifications on Palo Alto Networks solutions and has run multiple complex security operations orchestration and automation projects with Palo Alto Networks. Among the companies that have collaborated with Datanet Systems in the implementation of Palo Alto Networks solutions are leaders in the verticals of banking, software development, IT services, manufacturing and automation.
The consolidation of the Datanet Systems – Palo Alto Networks partnership takes place in the context of the escalation of cyber security incidents and the growing interest of organizations in Romania to improve their orchestration and automation capabilities. According to the data made public by the representatives of the National Cyber Security Directorate, 20,000 – 30,000 cyber attacks are detected every day, and the average cost of a completed attack reaches about 750,000 lei.
The Palo Alto Networks solutions implemented by Datanet Systems will help Romanian companies to reduce these risks and cope with the exponential increase in the volume of security alerts that need to be investigated. Using Palo Alto Networks, security experts will eliminate manual data processing and automate the application of remedial measures.
“Cyber security is a priority for Datanet Systems, as we want to provide our customers with solid support both to deal with the increasing incidence of attacks and to comply with the requirements of the NIS 2 Directive, and the partnership with Palo Alto Networks is an element of this strategies. We have a large team of Palo Alto Networks certified technical experts from Romania and we have run multiple complex projects in recent years. The move to Platinum Partnership level came naturally and will give us early access to innovation, knowledge and best practices. Cyber security solutions have increased significantly as a share in the company’s activity in 2023. The trend is maintained this year as well, when we expect it to exceed 15% of the turnover,” says Dragoș Stroescu, Executive Director of Datanet Systems.
Palo Alto Networks solutions are distinguished by the ability to orchestrate and automate specific cybersecurity operations. It connects multiple security solutions, correlates data and initiates the necessary measures to remediate attempted attacks. For example, Datanet has the ability to integrate Palo Alto Networks solutions with more than 700 applications and products from other hardware and software manufacturers, which brings visibility to the entire IT environment. Data* show that using Palo Alto Networks solutions can increase the speed of remediation by up to 90% and reduce the number of incidents investigated by 75%.
Among the most common work scenarios in which Datanet Systems uses solutions like Palo Alto are blocking phishing attacks, isolating end-user malware infections, identifying and blocking illegal login attempts, and assessing the criticality of vulnerabilities.
“Platinum partners in the Palo Alto Networks NextWave program play a critical role in the customer relationship, from initial qualification to successful implementation of Palo Alto Networks solutions. By being recognized as a “Platinum Innovator” partner, Datanet Systems proves that it is a company that masters Palo Alto technologies and a security consultant that customers can fully trust,” Palo Alto Networks representatives say.
