Orange Fab opens new call for projects dedicated to innovative startups in Romania
Orange Romania announces the launch of a new call for projects, within its acceleration program, Orange Fab. Orange Fab reaffirms its commitment to support innovative startups and contribute to the development of the startup ecosystem in Romania.
In this new call for projects, Orange Fab aims to identify at least 6 startups to join the acceleration program in the next 12 months and with which to develop pilot projects, to later integrate them into business solutions.
Interested startups can apply on the Orange Fab website until October 1st, after which the evaluation and validation of the startups that applied to the program will be carried out between October 2nd and 18th.
One of the priorities of the program is to support startups that have solutions based on Artificial Intelligence and that address three areas of strategic importance for the Orange group: cyber security, telecommunications networks and the experience offered to customers.
The Orange Fab program is looking for startups that develop solutions focused on the 10 verticals of the program: Networks of the Future, Smart Retail, IoT & Connected Objects, Security, Media & Entertainment, Sustainability, Smart City & Mobility, Digital Education, People & Future of work and Health & Lifestyle.
To be eligible, interested startups must meet the following conditions:
- have a solution that uses AI and addresses one of the business verticals of the Orange Fab program
- have a viable product (MVP) tested with customers
- it is a plus to have paying customers and recurring income
- the company must be registered in Romania
