A deeper understanding of business and financials I believe was always the key point in my career evolution.
It is what helped me perform as a Marketing Manager regardless of the industry I worked in, the type of target audience, the products, the services, the budgets I managed.
In addition, my strong sales management background is the one who allowed me to look for the right numbers and use them to reach goals in any type of marketing campaign, high or low budget.
Performing in challenging economic, political, and social contexts such as the Great Recession or Covid-19 pandemic also helped strengthen both my management competencies, mindset, and skills.
Above all that, there were people, amazingly strong, ambitious, and highly competent professionals who shared their knowledge, vision, and passion for technology and business with me, forever becoming my inspiration and drive.

Some 10 years ago I would have proudly nominated sales results, advertising awards or business events. But now I know that my greatest professional achievement resides in the knowledge, vision, and values I manage to instill in the people I work with.

The Business Sentiment
During the past 15 years we built a strong foundation for growth in SII Romania. And we believe that our sustainable development will continue.
Our evolution is based both on the development of our current commercial partnerships, as well as the expansion of our client portfolio, on the local market, and internationally. We build strong, long-term partnerships with our clients, relying on a deep understanding of their markets, strategy, and industries’ evolution. And we fully support them in finding the best solutions in line with their needs and goals. We are growing together.
Regarding market evolution, in my opinion, the increase in demand for IT services will be maintained both nationally and internationally. In terms of technologies, the most sought after are the ones in the web development area (Java, .NET, front-end development on the latest frameworks based on JavaScript), automated testing, Autosar, and embedded C. At the same time, in response to the growing need for digitalization and innovation, we expect demand to continue to grow in open-source technologies, cloud-based and AI-based.
To drive forward the sustainable development of our company, we will strengthen the investments in what we consider to be its very essence and, at the same time, our strongest competitive advantage: our team.
So, from both business to business, as well as business to employee perspectives, our marketing, and communication actions will amplify, providing our team with new and exciting challenges and career opportunities.
Leadership style
Our corporate culture is based on performance and adaptability. Most of our teams work in hybrid mode. We also adopted a flexible working time. We strongly believe that performance comes primarily from passion, commitment, and trust. Thus, our leadership is based on freedom and responsibility.
The new generations of marketers are strong willed, independent, and permanently connected to the digital world. That is why I choose to empower my team to make independent decisions, pursue their own vision, and find alternative solutions.
I admire people that pursue excellence regardless of their professional field: from athletes to media moguls, company owners, entrepreneurs, psychologists, economists, spiritual leaders. There is just so much to learn from them, they provide me with endless inspiration and motivation. And then there are of course those with whom I share my personal and professional journey, my day-to-day teachers, and mentors.
I like to believe that there are valuable lessons in any person or situation life exposes us to. And the essential is to never stop learning.
The pursuit of fulfillment
In the early years of my career, I believed that fulfilment resides in professional excellency: gaining as many advertising awards as possible, organizing the largest business events, partnering with the strongest media trusts, etc.
For me now the greatest professional satisfaction comes from empowering my teams to reach their highest potential and guiding my colleagues on the most suitable and fulfilling career path.
My advice to any professional is to pursue his/her true passion, to do what he likes most whether it is shoe making, horse riding, or business. And of course, never stop learning.
For marketing this applies to an even greater extent since it is continuously evolving, nowadays at a faster pace than ever before given digitalization. Always stay open to new perspectives and spare no effort to get an in-depth understanding of your markets and target audiences.
