On May 11, 2023, the 7th edition of PIN AWARDS, the annual awards of the regional IT&O industry, will take place. Entries for 17 categories open for nomination are expected until April 10.

A new gala is fast approaching, through which we celebrate the community of the local IT and Outsourcing industry in Iași! That’s why we invite all enthusiasts in the field to send proposals for companies, projects or people in the IT&O field that deserve to be recognized for the positive impact they have generated.
Award categories for the entire community
Here are the categories of projects awarded at PIN AWARDS this year:
● Education Initiative of the Year
● Top Employer Branding Initiative
● Best ITO Initiative in the Republic of Moldova
● Prize for the Impact in Community
● CSR Initiative of the Year
● Office Development of the Year
And the companies will be put in the spotlight in one of the following categories: “Most Active ITO Company in Western Moldova (except Iasi)”, “Start-Up of the Year”, “New entrant of the Year”, “IT Company of the Year”, “Transaction of the Year for a Local IT Company”, “Office Development of the Year”.
In the Individuals section, relevant industry leaders can be nominated in one of the following categories: “Manager of the Year”, “ITO Woman of the Year”, “Special Jury Prize”, “Prize for the Entire Activity”.
The selection will be made by a special jury, represented by specialists in the field. The “PIN Awards” will be awarded to successful companies, innovative start-ups, creative entrepreneurs, relevant community events, as well as sustainable academic projects.
“The exposure of any sector of the Romanian economy to the interaction with partners in the global market inevitably leads to the accelerated development of skills at the level of individuals and structures. Especially in the software industry, the maturation of these skills, procedures and structures creates the prerequisites for the emergence of a true indigenous entrepreneurship, able to take over and enhance these assets with its own products. The emergence of formal tools for observing and analyzing this phenomenon and for communication between community members is therefore beneficial at this moment, both the industry awards gala and the PIN magazine responding to these goals,” says Traian Luca, founder of Gemini CAD Systems
The event enjoys a relevant presence from local entrepreneurship and multinational companies in the field, which carry out part of their operations in Iași. PIN Awards 2023 is the ideal networking and connection opportunity for the Iași community.

The PIN ecosystem
The PIN awards gala is an annual event and aims to reward solid firms and companies, innovative start-ups, brave entrepreneurship in the region, relevant community events as well as sustainable academic projects.
PIN Magazine is the magazine of the regional IT & Outsourcing industry, printed in a print run of 1,000 color copies (> 40 pages) with targeted distribution to IT companies and the relevant academic environment. The magazine features editorials, interviews and articles on employer branding, trends and analysis, technology, education, real estate, living offices, events and IT communities.
PIN Map Iași is a map of modern offices in Iași that will also contain the initiatives that matter for the IT & Outsourcing industry (airport, start-up hubs, conference rooms, electric car charging stations), as well as locations of future projects of green office buildings.
