DEKRA delivered over 170 employee skills development courses, for 1,800 participants from Romanian organizations in 2021
DEKRA Romania, the largest non-listed organization in the field of Testing, Inspection, Certification and Training, organized last year in Romania, over 170 hard skills and soft skills training programs, attended by over 1700 employees from various companies , 57% more than in 2020.
The main DEKRA courses delivered include Lean Six Sigma, Automotive Specific Courses (FMEA, Lean Manufacturing, Core Tools), Internal Auditor Courses on various standards, as well as digital skills and soft-skills development programs. Romanian companies have accessed Hard Skills programs (IATF 16949 Requirements and Internal Auditor, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Quality Tools, 8D Problem Solving, Excel for business, Lean Six-Sigma, process efficiency), but also Soft Skills (Positive Communication, Leadership, Conflict Management, Business Public Speaking, Manager as Coach).
At the same time, the organizations sought to train their employees and teams with new skills and abilities, obtained through training, such as alignment with internal and external customer requirements, understanding methodologies, working standards, new tools and their implementation and use.
“The pandemic period affected the training market quite a bit, especially in the second quarter of 2020 when we had a rather sharp decline, but we noticed a greater openness of companies to invest in increasing employee skills since the end of 2020 but and throughout 2021, registering an upward trend that we estimate will continue in 2022 “, says Ionuţ Muntean, Managing Director, DEKRA Romania.

Participation in such a course based on the development of Hard Skills skills starts from 90 euro / participant and can reach 890 euro / participant. Among the main areas of companies that invested in training programs last year are the Automotive, Industrial Production, Pharma, Services, Oil & Gas industries.
