CGS Romania: The main reasons why Romanian companies use outsourcing
Access to specialized resources, the expertise of contact centers in providing superior performance and access to new technologies are among the main reasons why Romanian companies decide to outsource certain services, according to Computer Generated Solutions (CGS) Romania, the leader of the local business process market outsourcing (BPO).
“The Romanian market is a very important niche for us, especially since, in recent years, we have noticed a growing openness of local companies to outsourcing services. If, in the past, cost reduction through outsourcing was one of the main goals, now we see that most companies want to focus on their core business, leaving the related activities to the partners. In addition, many have understood that through a contact center, they have faster access to market talent and can find quality services, along with technologies and processes that lead to fast scalability and end customer satisfaction, ”he said. According to him, cost reduction, although no longer an important decision criterion, is taken into account because companies that choose outsourcing may notice a decrease in expenses related to recruitment and training, IT infrastructure (hardware and software) and of those of facility management (renting and maintenance of offices).
At the moment, CGS Romania has in its portfolio local companies (either 100% Romanian or international), both large and medium or small. When it comes to the difference between them in terms of approaching outsourcing services, Vladimir Sterescu said that multinational companies are familiar with the benefits of outsourcing in terms of both cost and quality and already have experience in this regard. Among them, most companies that choose to work with a contact center are those in industries such as telecom, utilities, retail, IT.
“Medium or small businesses decide to outsource because the high competition in their industry pushes them to choose those partners already specialized and experienced on their needs from the beginning. I would also add that no customer is too small for us. We are so well prepared to take over the activities of any company regardless of the size or complexity of the business processes,” Vladimir Sterescu mentioned.
