2Performant posts turnover of 10.7 million RON, up by 17 percent in the first half of the year
Technology company 2Performant, leader of the affiliate marketing market in Romania, listed on BVB’s AeRO market, registered a turnover of 10.7 million RON in the first half of 2021, increasing by 17 percent compared to the same period last year. The company also reports a 23 percent increase compared to the first half of last year in operating revenues, calculated by eliminating the commissions that 2Performant pays to affiliates from the platform, reaching 2.4 million RON. At the same time, the prepaid revenues, through the advance payment by the advertisers, reach 5.2 million RON, increasing by 63 percent compared to the 1st semester of 2020, to the detriment of the postpaid ones, which registered a decrease of 6 percent, having a value of 5.4 million RON.
“The e-commerce industry has known its most effervescent period since last year, and the financial results of 2Performant are in line with the business plans we have undertaken in line with the opportunities offered by this context. We record a 17 percent increase in turnover compared to the first half of last year, a year that was atypical and which brought record figures for online commerce and, implicitly, for 2Performant. Which is a great signal for our company. In addition, traditionally the second half of the year is a stronger one for online commerce in terms of e-commerce events such as Black Friday. Thus, we are confident that the moment we are in now and the results of the next six months will lead to the achievement of the business plan announced for 2021, respectively an increase of approximately 25 percent in turnover,” says Dorin Boerescu, CEO 2Performant.
