Top speakers from global companies such as The Coca-Cola Company, Microsoft, and Meta take the stage at Bucharest Tech Week to share best practices in business, innovation, and technology

As part of the Bucharest Tech Week festival, the series of five Business Summits will take place between June 16–20, 2025, at NORD Events Center by Globalworth, bringing together over 60 local and international speakers. Renowned global experts will take the stage to share with an audience of over 1,500 business professionals valuable insights and best practices across key areas such as innovation, artificial intelligence, software architecture, human resources, and AI coding.

The sessions will follow an interactive format, offering participants the opportunity to learn directly from some of the most influential specialists in the industry.
The Business Summits will kick off on Monday, June 16, with the Innovation Summit, featuring Dominik Heinrich, Co-Founder of Creative AI Academy and Global Head of AI Design at The Coca-Cola Company, as the keynote speaker. In his presentation, Heinrich will detail how brands can adapt their communication and positioning strategies to remain relevant both to human audiences and AI agents, who are playing an increasingly important role in digital decision-making processes. With a professional background that blends creativity and technology, Heinrich is also an Adjunct Professor at Pratt Institute and is internationally recognized for his innovative approaches in AI-assisted design.
Also at the Innovation Summit, Anton Kotov, Head of Corporate Strategy and M&A at ABB, will explore the challenges and opportunities of managing business strategy within a company operating in a fully decentralized structure. Federico Menna, CEO of EIT Digital, will discuss how organizations can successfully navigate a rapidly evolving technological landscape, shaped by accelerated innovation. His presentation will focus on the growing impact of technology on the European Union, the strategic directions ahead, and how risks can be transformed into opportunities for growth and adaptation.
Current topics related to artificial intelligence will be explored in depth at The Future Summit: AI, where Andy Grant, EMEA Director for Supercomputing and AI, Higher Education and Research at NVIDIA, and an experienced business leader, will discuss promoting the adoption of supercomputing and artificial intelligence across Europe. With over 30 years of experience in HPC and AI, Grant has collaborated with leading organizations worldwide to implement high-performance computing solutions at scale. Additionally, Mark Oost, Vice President AI & Generative AI at Capgemini, will deliver a presentation on how AI agents are transforming customer interactions in the financial sector, providing more efficient and personalized solutions. Sterre van der Laken, Strategy and Programs Lead at the UKI AI Centre within Salesforce, will host an interactive session focused on the future of intelligent agents, where participants will have the opportunity to create their own AI.
The HR Masters Summit, dedicated to human resources, will bring global leaders to the stage to explore new directions in leadership, talent development, and the evolution of organizational culture in a constantly changing work environment. Nazim Unlu, Global People & Organization Lead at Novartis, will address how technology and AI can be leveraged to enhance the human experience within companies. Claire Renaud, Global HR Director at DELL, will discuss strategies for attracting the right talent for the future. Furthermore, Donatella de Vita, Global Head of Development, Learning, Engagement and Welfare at Pirelli, will share best practices and valuable insights on creating impactful wellbeing programs.
In the technical area, the AI Coding Summit will highlight experts in multi-agent systems and AI-driven performance optimization. Sonika Kapil, AI & App Chief Architect at Microsoft, will provide insights into orchestrating intelligent systems using the Microsoft AI platform. With over 20 years of experience in the IT sector, she combines strategic vision with technical expertise to drive innovation. Another expert in the field, Harry Kimpel, Principal Developer Relations Engineer at New Relic, will detail advanced monitoring techniques for performance optimization and compliance assurance, as well as the use of Python in developing AI-based solutions. Corrado De Bari, Developer Evangelist at Oracle, will present practical applications of vector embeddings in chatbot development.
The Software Architecture Summit will feature key speakers such as David Ostrovsky, Software Engineer at Meta, a developer with over 25 years of industry experience, who will discuss efficient data analysis with DuckDB. Veliswa Boya, Senior Developer Advocate at Amazon Web Services, will highlight best practices in software development, while Ioannis Canellos, Senior Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat, will introduce the audience to the Backstage ecosystem, offering an applied perspective based on his extensive practical experience.
