Regista’s solution dedicated to public administration is now available for national minorities
Zitec, leader on the IT & digital marketing market in Romania, continues to promote the digitalization of public institutions and launches the Regista e-Government portal in the languages of national minorities: Hungarian, German, Russian and Serbian.
In order to facilitate the access of all Romanians to the e-Government Regista portal, the company has focused in the last year on the development of variants of the application in the languages of the main national minorities. Thus, the e-Government portal of municipalities using Regista is now also available in Hungarian, German, Russian, and Serbian. An English version was also developed to make it easier for expats to access information of public interest and the services provided by their mayor’s office.
According to Zitec representatives, the year 2020 was a turning point for Regista, the application being used by mayors and companies in all counties of the country. The number of Regista customers increased by over 37%, the solution generating a total business of 750,000 euros.
Among the public institutions using the solution developed by Zitec are the National Institute for Laser, Plasma and Radiation Physics from Măgurele, Bucharest Streets Administration, ADP Cluj Napoca, Piatra Neamț County Emergency Hospital, Prahova and Ialomita County School Inspectorates.
Regista continued in 2020 the effort to promote the digitization of public institutions through the Regista Caravan, which visited town halls in over 10 counties, but also by launching the Essential Guide for digitizing the town hall in November.
“The director is an easy solution to use by all the inhabitants of Romania, regardless of the language they speak. By introducing variants in Hungarian, German, Russian and Serbian, we facilitate the communication of citizens from communities where another mother tongue predominates with local public institutions, and for expats we also have the English version. Thus, they can submit requests or notifications, schedule online at the mayor’s office or consult public documents. All our efforts to promote and improve the functionalities of Regista have resulted in a significant increase in the number of customers who have adopted our solution in the last year. We will continue to constantly introduce new options to improve the application and thus support the digitalization process of the local public administration in Romania “, said Alexandru Lăpușan, CEO and co-founder of Zitec.
