Microsoft acquires Movial in Iasi and expands its software engineering centers to four in the country
Microsoft has completed a transaction with Movial, a software engineering and design services company specializing in mobile and embedded devices with 60 employees and looking for IT specialists.
“Following the transaction, 60 employees from the company’s Iasi-based Movial office joined the Microsoft Devices organization to continue the company’s investment in Android platform development efforts,” announced Microsoft Romania.
The company also announces that it will continue to expand the software engineering teams that support Windows and Android development efforts, and the Movial office in Iasi will become the fourth technology development center in the region for Microsoft.
“Microsoft today announced the completion of a transaction with Movial, a software engineering and design services company specializing in mobile and embedded devices, to expand employment offers to people in Movial offices in Romania, Taiwan and the United States,” reads in the press release sent by the company.
