NTT Data was named a Challenger in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for public cloud infrastructure and professional managed services
NTT DATA, global technology services provider, was named a Challenger in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Public Cloud Infrastructure and Professional Managed Services, Worldwide report, which analyzes 20 vendors based on their ability to execute and completeness of vision.
“Every day we challenge our clients to build resilient and secure businesses for long-term success, but these solutions also create the ability to scale and adjust when an unexpected short-term crisis occurs, such as the current COVID-19 pandemic,” said Emily Lewis-Pinnell, VP, Cloud & Application Transformation, NTT DATA Services. “Enterprises that take a proactive approach to cloud transformation will be better prepared operationally and financially during the short-term. Over the long-term they’ll have a sustainable competitive advantage with an improved security posture, greater business flexibility, unlimited scalability of applications, and a gateway to innovation.”
In just the last year, NTT DATA has become a Microsoft Azure Expert Managed Services Provider, Google Cloud Premier Partner, and announced a Strategic Collaboration with Amazon Web Services following the acquisition of Flux7, an AWS Premier Consulting Partner.
“The professional and managed services ecosystem for hyperscale providers is diverse,” said Craig Lowery, To Chee Eng, Scot MacLellan, Ross Winser, Brandon Medford, authors of the report. “This Magic Quadrant is focused on MSPs that have deep technical expertise with hyperscale providers, effective cloud management platforms (CMPs), and managed services that leverage automation, where possible. The MSPs must also possess the ability to deliver cloud-optimized solutions, regardless of whether a customer is deploying new cloud-native applications or migrating legacy workloads from an existing traditional data center.”
