OVES Enterprise is in talks to raise 55 million euro following a 298 million euro valuation
- The company’s valuation was based on Nemesis AI technology, intellectual property, strategic partnerships, operational performance, and the commercial potential of new products, including Sahara
- The targeted capital would support technology development, testing, industrialization, international expansion, and integration into new systems
- OVES Enterprise is open to capital partners at a time when it is discussing the development of Sahara both on a white-label basis and through partnerships with major players in the defense industry
OVES Enterprise, a Romanian software development company with expertise in creating complex software solutions and AI-driven innovations for the aerospace, defense, and cybersecurity industries, is in talks to raise EUR 55 million.
The initiative comes shortly after the company was valued at EUR 298 million, at a time when the defense industry is accelerating investments in artificial intelligence, autonomy, and systems capable of responding to increasingly complex operational scenarios, while companies developing proprietary technology with direct applicability are attracting growing interest from both the market and investors.
The valuation was based on Nemesis AI, the artificial intelligence technology developed by OVES Enterprise, the intellectual property built in-house, the volume of code developed by the company (more than 1.3 million lines of code), strategic partnerships, operational performance, and the commercial potential of the products currently under development. These include Sahara Autonomous System, the first cruise missile developed in Romania by a private company, a project that significantly expands the application scope of the technologies developed by OVES Enterprise and raises the company’s profile in a far more complex and higher-value product category.
The targeted funding would support research and development, testing, industrialization, integration into new systems, international expansion, and team consolidation. In a field where the transition from technology to product requires substantial resources and a high pace of development, access to capital plays an important role for companies seeking to scale rapidly and enter projects of strategic importance.
Nemesis AI and Sahara Raise the Stakes for OVES Enterprise
Nemesis AI is one of the most important technological assets in OVES Enterprise’s portfolio and a central element in the company’s valuation. Around this technology, OVES Enterprise has built in recent years a solid foundation of intellectual property and an architecture that can be integrated into advanced defense systems.
An important milestone in this evolution is the strategic partnership between OVES Enterprise and MSI Defense Solutions, through which Nemesis AI is being integrated into anti-drone and anti-missile systems. OVES Enterprise has already announced that the technology is being used in EAGLS systems deployed by the US military in the Middle East, which gives the company a strong argument in discussions regarding the expansion of the technology into new applications and products.
Sahara also holds an important place in OVES Enterprise’s development outlook. The project marks the company’s entry into a product category with significantly greater complexity and strategic importance, where the experience accumulated in AI, electronics, systems integration, and intelligent control is being carried forward into a complete product.
OVES Enterprise is currently discussing the development of Sahara along two lines: commercialization of the product on a white-label basis and partnerships with major defense industry companies seeking to accelerate their entry into the next generation of systems. The existing interest in Sahara shows that the project has commercial relevance and can move into a real industrial development trajectory. At this stage, OVES Enterprise continues to test and validate the product before moving to commercial orders, with the objective of further developing the system into a robust and operationally relevant form.
The Valuation Reflects the Maturity of the Company’s Technology and Products
The talks to raise EUR 55 million come at a time when OVES Enterprise already has proprietary technology, products with strategic potential, relevant partnerships, and solid foundations for further acceleration. For investors and partners, the key factor is OVES Enterprise’s ability to turn in-house developed intellectual property into products, integration into real systems, and commercial opportunities in an expanding market.
The EUR 298 million valuation reflects a clear stage of maturity: technology built in-house, proprietary assets, operational performance, strategic partnerships, and products capable of opening new growth avenues. At the same time, the valuation shows that OVES Enterprise has reached a point where further development depends increasingly on access to capital capable of accelerating the pace of execution, testing, industrialization, and international expansion.
“The EUR 298 million valuation confirms the value of the technology and intellectual property we have built around Nemesis AI, as well as the commercial potential of the products developed by OVES Enterprise, including Sahara”, says Mihai Filip, CEO of OVES Enterprise. “We are at a point where the next stage requires serious capital for development, testing, industrialization, and integration into systems with real-world applicability. We are looking for partners who understand what is at stake and who can support the growth of a company developing technology relevant to the next generation of defense systems”.
For OVES Enterprise, this moment marks the beginning of a stage in which the company can play a more visible role in international defense projects, based on proprietary technology developed in Romania and products built for real market requirements.
