SCOR, one of the world’s leading reinsurers, announces the appointment of Andrei Romanescu as General Manager of SCOR Bucharest, a strategic transformation hub within SCOR’s international network. In this role, he will lead the development of SCOR’s operations in Romania, with a focus on driving efficiency, collaboration, and execution. SCOR Bucharest adds to SCOR’s 35+ offices. Together with over 3,600 SCOR colleagues worldwide, the SCOR Bucharest team will contribute to serving clients in more than 150 countries.
Under Andrei’s leadership, SCOR’s office in Bucharest will bring together expertise in Tech & Data, Finance, and Property & Casualty reinsurance operations to design smarter, more resilient processes and solutions that shape the future of our operations and power SCOR’s global ecosystem.

He has coordinated large teams internationally and led organizations during periods of rapid growth, with a leadership style focused on people, strategy, and execution.
