Reporting Center launches AI module that simplifies the work of banks’ legal departments
Reporting Center, a company specializing in the development of advanced IT solutions and services for analysis and reporting for financial institutions, marks a new stage of development. The company, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, is preparing to expand into the United Arab Emirates market and is launching new advanced functionalities, developed based on Generative AI technologies, integrated into its own platform, Elite.
“Reporting Center goes beyond the boundaries of a traditional software company because it basically automates legislation. Since its inception, 10 years ago, we have integrated elements of legislative business and agility into the mentality of the team we formed to adapt to the speed at which legislation changes. If technology is like fashion – it changes twice a year –, legislation changes twice a month. That is why we must keep up with legislative deadlines and have a superior speed of implementation, because we are not just a “normal” software company. So, we introduced the notion of Purple expertise to the market and train people with hybrid skills, who have both technical, programmer and banking business analyst skills”, said Elena Unciuleanu, founder of Reporting Center.
The solution and services provided by the company automate the reports that regulated financial institutions must submit to the authorities in the field (BNR, Ministry of Finance, ANAF, Guarantee Fund, etc.). The application created ten years ago and constantly developed since then – Elite Reporting Platform – helps banks and non-banking financial institutions (NFIs) to obtain the necessary data, indicators and reports, in the standard regulated format. The platform is designed to quickly assimilate both frequent legislative changes and technological innovation.
Currently, the Reporting Center’s client portfolio includes eight banks from Romania, three from the Republic of Moldova, three NFIs, a major player in the retail industry, a group of nine companies, as well as numerous other companies.
In 2025, Reporting Center entered an accelerated phase of expanding its activity to other markets, but also at the local level. “This year we are focusing on the United Arab Emirates. We already have a very strong partner that has been active in the UAE market since 2020 and works with many banks on consulting services, which facilitates our access. Also, locally, there are many banks that want to replace reporting applications developed in the 90s and 2000s with a state-of-the-art solution,” said Elena Unciuleanu.
The company is also investing heavily in the development of its own reporting platform, Elite. The solution and services provided by the Reporting Center ensure the processing of large volumes of structured and unstructured data, using Generative AI (GenAI) technologies, so that they can be used in analyses and reports. “In 2025, we integrated the AI Conversations module into the Elite platform, which allows bank employees – from the legal department, for example – to obtain the data necessary for new reports, DORA or ESG, in a much shorter time. This is information that does not exist in databases, but only in contracts with customers and suppliers. With the new module, there is no longer a need for a team to read all the contracts, but it is enough for a single person to talk to a terminal and thus extract the necessary information. Another important advantage of our platform is that the data remains confidential, on the client’s server. A bank cannot afford to upload client contracts to Chat GPT, because at that moment they become public information,” explained the founder of Reporting Center.
Reporting Center ended last year with a turnover of over 6 million lei (approximately 1.22 million euros), up 43.6% compared to 2023, and a 54% profit rate.
