aSpace’s business grew 20% in 2024, and the company continues to expand nationally
aSpace, the largest operator with Romanian capital of co-working spaces in Romania, continues to redefine the market in Romania, marking a growth of over 20% in 2024.
The company reported a turnover of 7.4 million lei in 2024, compared to the level of 6.1 million lei recorded in 2023. For 2025, aSpace estimates an increase of almost 30% in turnover, to 9.5 million lei. The company aims to become a national leader in the co-working / service offices segment, with the plan to expand the network in the big cities in Romania. Among the immediate plans is the opening of a new location in Bucharest, in the first quarter of this year.
“We are proud of our evolution and the trust our customers place in us. For 2025, we are focusing on expanding the network of locations and diversifying services, with the objective of supporting entrepreneurs and companies to develop in Romania. We are starting with Bucharest, but our plan is to bring aSpace solutions to important cities throughout the country.” said Bogdan Mariniuc, founder and CEO of aSpace.
The number of aSpace customers doubled between 2022 and 2024, reaching over 400 active contracts, of which more than a third (150) are over two years old. This year, the company, which has a market share of approximately 15%, aims to exceed the threshold of 500 active partners. At the same time, the number of aSpace locations has increased from three in 2022 to six in 2024. For 2025, the company plans to open three more locations, reaching a total of nine co-working spaces.
The total available area has expanded from 3,500 square meters in 2022 to over 9,000 square meters planned for the end of this year. This growth was also supported by the expansion of the team, which went from four employees in 2022 to 12 in 2024, and in 2025 it is estimated to reach a number of 16 professionals.
“What differentiates us in this market is flexibility. We find solutions for each client and customize the offers so that they meet the exact needs of each of them. As we grow, this becomes more challenging, but we continue to do it. In addition, we have a highly involved team, always ready to act, and we benefit from the advantage of being a local operator, with a deep knowledge of the market,” added Bogdan Mariniuc.
aSpace collaborates with law firms, IT, pharma, real estate, professional services (accounting, marketing, HR), retail and companies from various other industries.
