The Authority for the Digitization of Romania (ADR) announces the signing of the contract for the development of the e-learning platform, part of the “Skills in advanced technologies for SMEs” project
The President of ADR, Dragoș – Cristian Vlad, and the Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitization, Bogdan-Gruia Ivan, participated this week in the signing of the contract for the development of the e-learning platform, related to the project “Skills in advanced technologies for SMEs financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), component C7 – Digital transformation, Operation D “Digital skills, human capital and the use of the Internet”.
“This project is essential for increasing the competitiveness of Romanian SMEs. Thus, we will support digitization and innovation in the private sector,” said Dragoș Cristian Vlad, president of ADR.
The project will directly address the need for retraining and improvement of SME employees, giving them access to trainings fully financed from PNRR funds. These programs will help companies adopt modern technologies and improve business processes, thus increasing competitiveness and innovation capacity.
The project has a completion date of December 16, 2025 and aims to improve the level of knowledge, skills and abilities of employees in Romanian SMEs.
Employees will benefit from training programs in nine key technical areas, including the Internet of Things, Cloud Technologies, Big Data, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation, Blockchain, Cyber-Physical Systems and Additive Manufacturing. The total value is 36 million euros, and each SME can receive up to 17,000 euros for the participation of employees in these courses.
