SoftOne Romania, part of the Greek SOFTONE Group, reports a 60% increase in turnover in 2023
The growth was boosted by the strategic acquisition of partner QBS Retail & Logistics and the opening of a new office in Brașov. These changes led to the doubling of the number of employees, the expansion of the SoftOne ecosystem with more than eight partners and more than 100 new customers.
In 2024, the company aims to increase its turnover by 50% and increase the number of new partners by more than 25%, as well as launch new software solutions.
In 2023, SoftOne Romania recorded an impressive increase in turnover by 60%, doubling the number of employees, expanding the ecosystem with over eight new partners and the client portfolio with over 100 companies, results that strengthened its position as leader on the local market. The strategic acquisition of the partner QBS Retail & Logistics brought a significant development of the team, the company currently has over 40 employees, and allowed the strengthening of relations with customers in the Transylvania region.
At the same time, the commercial efforts made allowed the company to identify valuable new sales opportunities, so as to expand its customer base to more than 700 companies.
For the year 2024, SoftOne Romania proposes a 50% increase in turnover, a 30% increase in the number of employees and an increase of over 25% in the number of new partners, increases supported by the expansion and diversification of its portfolio of products and services . The company will bring to its portfolio new software solutions, such as the e-procurement application, CosmoONE, and the ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) application, Global Sustain, to respond to the increasingly complex challenges of the business environment.
Alexandra Lucescu, General Manager within SoftOne Romania, said: “We are confident that 2024 will definitely be an even better year than 2023. The favorable results obtained last year make us ambitious in achieving the objectives of 2024. We are therefore aiming for an organic growth of 50% of turnover and profitability, supported by a 30% increase in the number of employees. At the same time, we have big development plans through M&A projects, Romania being one of the most important international markets for the SOFTONE Group. Because we want to make the most of the market’s potential, we are focusing our efforts towards a rapid expansion, carried out through acquisitions at the national level, in parallel with the organic one”.
