ANIS starts the registration for “IT Industry Excellence Awards”, 2024 edition

ANIS, the Employers’ Association of the Software and Services Industry, is launching the applications session for the “IT Industry Excellence Awards”, 2024 edition – the competition designed to reward the best performing companies in the Romanian IT industry, but also the products, projects and initiatives through which they stood out in 2023.

Registration period: February 1 – 29, 2024.

Now in its 10th edition, the competition brings more novelties this year.

“ANIS Gala has been the occasion for 10 years where companies in the industry meet to celebrate the most spectacular and impactful projects and products, the most interesting startups and innovative applications. We expect a growing number of projects in all categories, as the industry has contributed to the digital transformation of all economic sectors and society in general. Romania is at a moment when it has the opportunity to modernize with the help of new technologies and rapidly reduce the gaps compared to more developed economies, but a joint effort of all local actors is needed, as well as examples from other countries. That is why this year’s edition of the Gala will be preceded by the first edition of the ANIS International Summit, where representatives of the most important local, regional and European institutions and global companies will debate the current context of the industry, both in the area of regulations and as technological trends”, said Corina Vasile, ANIS executive director.

Companies can register in the following categories:

• ESG Program of the Year (new category)
• Innovation of the Year (new category)
• Education Program of the Year
• Startup of the Year
• R&D Project of the Year
• Software Outsourcing Project of the Year
• Software Product of the Year
• Company of the Year

There are also two special awards – ANIS Member of the Year and Best Personal Contribution – which will be awarded by the executive team to a member company that stood out for its involvement in the development of the software and IT services industry in 2023, respectively to the most active contributor to the activity of ANIS.

For all other award categories, an independent jury will evaluate the entered projects and select the finalists and winners of the competition. Companies can submit applications for the IT Industry Excellence Awards 2024, regardless of whether they are ANIS members or not, by filling in the forms dedicated to each category on the website. Any company can apply for one or more categories.

The regulations for the organization of the competition are published here. The “IT Industry Excellence Awards” is a traditional competition for the domestic IT industry, the first edition being organized in 2015.

In 2023, the winners were designated: Microsoft Romania, Endava, Bright Spaces, Atta Systems, Luxoft Romania, rinf.tech , Kinderpedia, AROBS Transilvania and ZITEC.
