Ogre AI wins CEE Startup Challenge IX (organized by Vestbee)
Ogre AI, startup focused on data science and specialized in providing solutions for the energy sector, based on machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI), won yesterday, December 7, the CEE Startup Challenge competition organized by Vestbee.
Vestbee is the main ecosystem platform for startups in Central and Eastern Europe connecting global investors (business angels, accelerators, venture capital funds, corporations) with thousands of European startups in various technology fields. Nominated among the 10 finalists of the competition at the end of November, by a jury made up of over 70 representatives of investment funds, the Ogre AI company went through the final stage of live presentations yesterday to finally reach the first position, being announced also winner of the CEE Startup Challenge 2023.

The company was named Vestbee’s startup of the month in September, the month in which it completed a €625,000 funding round with Soulmates Ventures.
Ogre AI has ambitious medium and long-term development plans, including reaching recurring revenues of 1 million euros in one year and covering 90% of the Romanian energy market and 70% of the Greek market. Active on the markets of Great Britain, Romania and Greece, Ogre AI has among its clients powerful players in the field of energy including Enel, CEZ, Engie, PPC, DEER or E.ON. Ogre AI provides technology solutions that forecast power generation, consumption, technological and commercial network losses and various anomalies in the system.

The third-place winner, Behavio, is a B2B SaaS platform for marketers, delivering insights in the relation between marketing spend and revenue through research. Instead of triggering excuses, Behavio assigns tasks, like gauging immediate product preferences or brand recognition. What’s more, the online research aligns with EEG and eye scanner results, ensuring quality data collection on a large, representative sample of users’ target group, adhering to sociological standards.
Ender Turing
Next on our selection, Ender Turing, is a real-time behavior analytics for B2C enterprises to boost revenue and customer satisfaction. It identifies top performers across calls, chats, and video meetings and enables users to see call center KPIs & agent progress. As a consequence, the users of Ender Turing speed up quality control, coach agents, and skyrocket customer satisfaction.
