CGS Romania opens new outsourcing center in Constanta, needs 600 employees in the next three years
Business process outsourcing services provider Computer Generated Solutions (CGS) Romania, announced the launch of a new outsourcing office in Constanta, the seventh opened by the company in Romania. The new office is developed on 2000 sqm.
For the new business process outsourcing services, CGS needs 600 professionals for the next three years for delivering services in financial, technical, sales and customer service. The company representatives say that CGS Romania has ongoing recruiting and the company will mainly hire young people who want positions in which they can perform and have access to a long-term career plan, with the possibility of evolution. CGS targets English, French, Spanish, Italian and Turkish speakers, with negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
“The growth of our business over the last year has led to the need of increasing the number of employees. Thus, the opening of a new CGS center on the local market came as a natural step, and the choice of Constanța city was determined by the high availability on the labor market, considering that we will need about 600 employees in the next three years, but and proximity to Bucharest,” says Vladimir Sterescu, Country Manager of CGS Romania.
According to the manager, Constanța was a city bypassed by Computer Generated Solutions and other companies operating in outsourcing, due to the strong seasonal characteristic. Young people, a segment targeted by the company, preferred to work in areas such as HoReCa during the summer, often without official employment contracts, for earnings with which a hard-paying company can compete. In recent years, however, the context has changed, and the labor market in Constanta has been regulated and the share of unpaid wages has decreased. Thus, the prospect of being employed in a company such as CGS Romania, where job stability is ensured, is a growing advantage.
“In this context, we believe that the city of Constanța will offer us the opportunity to employ 600 young people in the coming years. They will serve projects like those we operate in the other six CGS Romania centers, in the financial, technical, sales and customer service areas. Also, in Constanta we will offer salaries and benefits above the average of the local and national market,” Vladimir Sterescu adds.
For start, the new business services center opened in Constanta will manage the expansion of the ongoing services delivered by the other six CGS centers in Romania, and gradually, is anticipated to earn new clients.
