Dan Achim, Majorel: “Leaders should empower their people, allow them to make mistakes and to grow”
“Leadership implies constant transformation and reflects the way society evolves and how things in this digital era evolve. After the first job in my family’s business, I moved to the services industry. Here I noticed a more democratic way of doing things, a style that provides people with space. This allows them to grow, to come with their own ideas,” Dan Achim, Senior Service Delivery Coordinator, Majorel said during Romanian Business Services Forum organized by Outsourcing Today and The Diplomat-Bucharest.
“In the past years, we realized that, in the end, it’s not only about managing people, but also about serving them. A lot of people apply the servant leadership style that is probably the best fit to our industry.
Things will evolve really fast in the next couple of years due to artificial intelligence. In the future, we will need even more flexibility from leaders in a fast-moving environment.
My advice for the leaders would be to trust the people they are working with, to empower them, to allow them to make mistakes, and to allow them to grow by this way.”
