The first cooperative with digital membership in Romania, where you can invest in local businesses with the help of blockchain
● The Coop Network is the first platform developed with the help of blockchain technology that facilitates your access as an investor in locally developed businesses
● The innovative projects of The Coop Network are developed in Romania and are based on the principles of sustainability
● A company that already automates the processes of famous companies, the exploitation of a pure water spring and a medical cannabis farm are among the projects in the cooperative in which members can invest
The Coop Network, the first cooperative with digital membership developed in Romania, functions as a platform where you can invest through blockchain technology in locally developed businesses. The businesses that can be invested in are in the field of robotics and sustainable agriculture, all located in Romania.
“The transition to a better future can only be made through involvement. Within The Coop Network, members have the opportunity to be part of a community that focuses on that, on developing sustainable and innovative businesses. It is an investment project based on indispensable resources for people: energy, agriculture and water, all of which are powered by the latest technologies,” said Arthur Fleischer, co-founder of The Coop Network.
Co-op members receive annual co-op dividends relative to their contribution, or they can choose to reinvest the money further into projects to generate long-term income.
By investing in at least one of the cooperative’s projects, members have a guaranteed return of between 10-15% annually.
In April, The Coop Network launched the early membership program, through which anyone can apply to join the cooperative, benefiting from the numerous advantages offered to the first 3,000 members.
The registration process is easy. Everything happens digitally with the help of blockchain technology, which makes everything secure and transparent.
At the moment, The Coop Network comprises six projects in various stages of development, in which members of the co-op can invest:
● Robotics and automation company – IQ Robotech
● Rental of utility drones and applications for rescue, inspection and reconnaissance missions in the field or firefighting
● Exploitation of a spring of pure water from the Apuseni Mountains area, naturally filtered, and the sale of this bottled water in the country and abroad
● A medical cannabis farm, cultivated for the production and sale of Real Ease CBD oil, for medicinal purposes for humans and animals
● Production and sale of smart modular greenhouses. An energy efficient business and simple to implement in the long term
● An organic sheep farm
In addition to the financial investments they may choose to make in these projects, members may also support the cooperative through their expertise or skills. Whether we are talking about the legal, technical, sales or other necessary actions in the field.
The Coop membership card gives equal voting rights, regardless of the amount of the financial contribution, in the proposals of the governing board regarding the activities of The Coop Network
“The Coop Network is, above all, a growing community. It comes with a sustainable economic model, in which new technologies have been integrated. It is a business conglomerate that aims to contribute to a more sustainable future, a platform for alternative investments and passive income. Anyone can join and contribute, whether it’s skills and expertise or investment in the cooperative’s projects. The Coop Network comes and digitizes the traditional cooperative. Member enrollment is easy and investments are automated using blockchain technology. We thus guarantee a 100% secure and transparent investment platform,” said Florin Timbuc, Chief Technology Officer at The Coop Network.
By using blockchain technology, The Coop Network makes the investment process easier and safer than the traditional way.
The platform accepts several payment methods – payment with debit or credit card, bank transfer in lei or euro, but also payment with USDC.
In case of withdrawal at the end of the investment period (which differs depending on the chosen project), the member receives his investment in whichever currency he prefers (lei, euro or USDC) and in whatever form he prefers – either a bank account or the digital wallet with which he signed up.
If he wants to withdraw from the chosen business before the end of the investment period, the Coop Network member will have access to a free market within the cooperative, where he can sell his investment position to another member.
Coop Wallet, an exclusive app for Coop members, will also be launched soon. It aims to facilitate access to the entire Coop ecosystem and will allow the financing of cooperative businesses in the easiest possible way.
