Zitec grows team by 40% since the beginning of the year, reaches more than 330 specialists

Zitec, leader in the IT & digital marketing market in Romania, specialized in the development of digital transformation solutions and services, announces the increase of the team by 40% from the beginning of the year to date, compared to the same period last year. During this period, the company hired over 90 specialists, the Zitec team currently has over 330 members both from Bucharest and from other cities of the country, such as Brașov, Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara or Iași.

Next, Zitec proposes to expand the team with at least 40 colleagues: programmers (PHP, .NET, Magento, WordPress), Quality Assurance specialists, Scrum Masters and Product Owners, marketing and sales. Additionally, the company will expand its own product teams – Regista and Mirro.io. The company’s recruitment process is flexible and adapted to the current way of working remotely, so that candidates from all cities in the country can apply for vacancies.

The company works hybrid, which allows team members to individually decide the option for carrying out the activity. Thus, team members have the opportunity to choose their way of working: mainly in the remote system, mainly from the office or hybrid, according to their preferences.
The latest survey carried out within the company, showed that 20% of Zitec members opted to work from the office more than three days a week, 50% to work mainly from home and 30% to work in hybrid mode, alternating working days from the office with those from a distance.

“Ever since the beginning of the pandemic, we have made the decision that the entire team will carry out its activity in a remote system. Subsequently, we successfully adapted to this new reality and preferred not to impose a rigid company-wide policy on how to work. Throughout this period, we have put a lot of emphasis on flexibility and taken into account the preferences of our colleagues, so that they can each choose the way of work they prefer. Next, we are focusing on expanding the team, through a recruitment process that takes place at national level, not only in the cities where we have offices, Bucharest and Brașov. We will also continue to invest in our team members and concern ourselves with both their professional and personal development, through actions that include their common passions or interests”, said Alexandru Lăpușan, CEO & Co-Founder Zitec.

Zitec continued this year to invest in the personal and professional development of its team members. Thus, they had access to development resources both on dedicated online learning platforms, certification programs, and to classroom courses and workshops to develop their communication, relationship and collaboration skills. In addition, Zitec members access mentoring sessions for professional development, the company’s objective being the continuous improvement of knowledge. in the first half of the year, Zitec team members obtained certifications on Symfony 6, Security (Azure Security and Microsoft Security Operations), as well as Kubernetes, Google Cloud or HubSpot.

Zitec is also involved in social responsibility campaigns, such as: donations of supplies for children in collaboration with the Aura Ion Association, equipping a computer lab for the “Matei Gr. Vlădeanu” Secondary School in Dâmbovița county, or CSArt, an internal competition of photo at the end of which Zitec will auction the entered works, and the amount collected will be donated to a cause chosen by the winner of the contest.

Also, since the beginning of the year, Zitec resumed the implementation of the #cei1024 program (suspended during the pandemic), and organized two blood donation sessions at the headquarters in Bucharest, reaching 24 own sessions since the beginning of the action. The next blood donation session is scheduled by the company for September 21. Since the beginning of the www.cei1024.ro initiative, more than 60 companies have joined this concept and together they have managed to save more than 17,000 lives.
