Ascendis affairs grew by 80% in first quarter, 2022, highest level in company history

• The incomes of Ascendis group reached 4.25 million euros in the first 6 months, 2022, marking a record level in the 25 year history of the company.
• The large demand for training programs and team building events were the main growth factors.

Ascendis group, the leader of the training and consulting market in the field of professional development in Romania, concluded the first 6 months of 2022 with a business figure of 4.25 million euros, on the rise by 80% against the same period of 2021, a year when the training market was strongly affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. Results of the first 6 months of 2022 are 20% over the level of the same period of 2019, the best in the company history.

Over 60% of group incomes in the first semester were generated by the training division, while the “stars”of 2022 were leadership, innovation, sales, agile projects and evaluation centers. The demand for leadership programs are justified by the fact that Romania has recently joined the league of high income countries, according to the World Bank and that is reflected in the need for correct leadership, adapted to context, so that employers invest more in training managers.

As for training programs in the sales area, companies want their employees to learn to adapt to a new, unusual environment, where the biggest obstacle is delaying projects because of economic instability.

In the case of team building programs, there is a company tendency to organize larger events, which reunite the whole team, different from pre-pandemic years when such events were organized for each department.
