FORT, Bittnet Group’s new cybersecurity company, plans to list on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange with the support of Agista
Cyber security companies Global Resolution Experts (GRX) and ISEC Associates (ISEC) are becoming FORT following a complex rebranding process. Thus, in the next period, GRX’s operations will be unified with those of ISEC.
At the same time, Bittnet Group’s entire activity in the cybersecurity sector will be consolidated under the same identity. In order to continue the strategic expansion plans, the new entity plans to list on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
The shareholders, among whom is the investment fund in the process of authorization Agista, approved the listing in the General Assembly.
“We are happy about this change of perspective, because it gives us the necessary resources to enter another stage and realize the ambitious goals we have set for ourselves. Even though the rebranding process was 360, the new FORT philosophy represents a continuation of the promise of the previous brands – to offer customers access to cyber security services and solutions to combat digital threats – through an approach adapted to current needs, generated by digitization fast, remote work or mobile access. Moreover, the moment of consolidating our position is a particularly favorable one. According to the McKinsey report (2022), the global market is estimated to grow to 101.5 billion dollars by 2025, amid the intensification of the number of cyber attacks from year to year”, said Vladimir Ghiță, CEO of FORT, adding that the financial results the company’s positives support the market’s upward trend,
“Turnover and net profit increased in the first half of 2022 compared to the same period of the previous year, and we expect a dynamic for the second half that will allow the achievement of the objectives assumed at the beginning of the year , respectively an increase of at least 25% for the two main indicators. Certainly, the results came on the back of a 30% increase in the team, with our team exceeding 30 colleagues today. We want this core of specialists to represent the foundations on which we will solidify and increase our presence on the cyber security specific services market.”
FORT aims to achieve the leading position of the cyber security sector in Romania thanks to the skills, experience and expansion of the team, and, together with the investment fund in the process of authorization Agista, the new cybersecurity company FORT plans to list on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange future.
“Cyber security is an extremely important topic today that affects us all, whether we are talking about companies or individuals. As technology advances and we use more and more devices connected to the internet, it becomes more essential to keep our systems and data secure. At Agista, we believe that cyber security has become a primary need in recent years, right at the base of Maslow’s pyramid, that’s why we decided to invest capital and know-how to create an ecosystem of partners that work closely to secure systems.” said Nicolae Kovacs, Agista CEO.
The new FORT entity will provide specific services in the field of cyber security, such as IT compliance audit for various rules and regulations issued by national legal entities (Financial Supervisory Authority, Authority for Digitization of Romania, National Bank of Romania or National Cyber Security Directorate), penetration testing services for mobile applications, web and IT infrastructure, consulting services for securing the environment in which companies operate, but also design, implementation and maintenance services for IT security solutions. The company’s development strategy considers both the strengthening of local operations and the acceleration of collaborations with international clients.
