150 students joined Tremend for one of the largest IT internship programs in Romania

At the beginning of July 2022, Tremend started one of the largest and most complex internship programs in the IT field in Romania. The software development and consulting company received 150 students from all over the country, thus actively contributing to the formation of the future wave of technology specialists, supporting them in the process of developing skills in the field, by capitalizing on innovation opportunities.

The scope of this year’s Tremend internship program also derives from the wide range of technologies and disciplines it includes – from Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Embedded and Semiconductors, to Agile Management, Business Analysis, Quality programs. Engineering, Experience Engineering, and more. Disciplines or Crafts are a different but more effective way to analyze the main skills of interns, whether it is a programming language, a set of frameworks, standard solutions or other aspects of IT, to develop them better potential.

The internship team will work on complex solutions for the banking, telecom, medical services, education and financial services industries, integrating emerging technologies such as IoT, AI and Machine Learning (ML).

„The Tremend internship program has evolved significantly since the pilot project in 2015, during which time over 350 students completed their internship in 13 cities in Romania, and over 80% of them received a job offer within the company .
