Pentalog opens its first headquarters in Bucharest adjusted to hybrid working
The newly launched software development center in Bucharest of Pentalog, a company specialized in providing digital services and solutions globally, has moved from today to a new headquarters, adapted to the hybrid work system.
The flexibility of the presence at the office, the spaces dedicated to creative collaboration and the accessibility of the location were the most important criteria that were the basis for choosing the new headquarters by Pentalog’s management, which wanted to respond to the needs and preferences expressed by employees. At the end of the 2 years of pandemic, the center of Bucharest is the first Pentalog office that takes into account the new reality of hybrid work, with an emphasis on mixed collaboration – at a distance or face to face. The workspace is adapted to the number of employees who occasionally come to the company’s headquarters.
The strategy for choosing Pentalog locations follows the internal surveys through which employees were consulted: 90% of Pentalog employees wanted complete freedom in choosing the frequency of office attendance. Thus, at the company level, no strict rule was adopted regarding the number of hours physically spent in the office, being exclusively the option for employees to work at headquarters or remotely.
For those who want to join colleagues in the office, Pentalog has made available to employees an internal application through which they announce their presence in advance and reserve a desk to work in. This system offers maximum flexibility and freedom for employees to work from anywhere, including in another city or country. Moreover, the company allows employees to work from any of the 15 locations on 3 continents.
“An overwhelming majority of our colleagues have spoken out in favor of a flexible work system that allows them to choose whether they work from home or from the office. We put the freedom of choice that our employees have in the first place, without ambiguity. Another important aspect for us was the central positioning of the headquarters, in order to increase the accessibility of colleagues and customers who want to visit us “, said Dan Avram, Chief Customer Success Officer at Pentalog.
