“The COVID-19 pandemic has shaken the business world to the point where leaders must adapt first, then the teams & businesses. I think, we have all faced the challenge of navigating work from home model while keeping our teams engaged. For this purpose, Majorel Romania launched the special Feel Good Program, Majorel’s global well-being and engagement framework to enable our employees get engaged and contribute to shaping their workplace. As part of the program, we have equipped our employees with all the necessary tools and programs to support their professional as well as personal development at Majorel. Furthermore, we’ve looked really closely at sensitive topics like: wellbeing & mental health, and we launched several programs for our employees, short and long terms. I’d like to highlight the IT’S OK Program designed as a group therapy sessions with various topics: from parenting in pandemic times, to anxiety, isolation, etc. where we try to cope and to find solutions for our emotional stability. I, together with my team went above and beyond to find the best solutions for our employees, to boost confidence, creativity and safety in a very sensitive context.
Obviously, we are looking for further growth and development in 2022. One of our biggest business objectives are expanding our teams and diversifying our client portfolio. On top of that, we will continue to further develop our people-centric strategy and invest more in our employees. I believe, the best teams that continuously adapt and grow are led by the leaders who put their people at the heart. We are happy for the amazing awards Majorel Romania received this year as the Top Employer and look forward to many more recognitions in 2022.”

“As a successful company with a significant geographic footprint and a rapidly growing workforce, we take responsibilities towards our people, society and the environments where we operate. Each year, we have different Corporate Responsibility initiatives through the involvement of our amazing colleagues who are always eager to contribute to good cause.
In 2021, we supported children in the local Gloria Angeli orphanage by donating computers and tablets and giving them access to education. Together with our employees we also adopted a village and we provided Easter Presents for all the children there. In September, we sponsored 1000 students from 5 schools in the poor areas near Brasov with school necessities. We continuously invest in education and the bright future of our unprivileged communities, but on top of that, we also care for the animal welfare. As part of our Corporate Responsibility framework, our team donated funds to the local foundation for animal care.”

“Our employees have decorated 5 school yards: planted trees and created beautiful flower gardens for students. With this campaign, we wanted to make the start of the school year more cheerful and thanks to our joint efforts, we made it possible.
We constantly look for smart and cost-effective ways to reduce waste and promote sustainability across our four offices in Romania. For this reason, we delivered reusable cotton bags and work necessities to all our employees. We are also putting a lot of effort in raising awareness, informing & encouraging our employees with the help of creative events with focus on environment. Reduce waste, be mindful about nature and be as plastic free as possible are just a few of the topics we tackled.”

“We will continue digitalization of our business processes, adding new internal and external communication platforms. Also, we will further continue to boost interaction and engagement of our employees across the company, by starting the new cycle of the Feel Good program. Our well-being initiatives as part of the program will be mainly focused on psychological counseling and mental health. We are also planning to get involved in bigger CSR campaigns, because giving back to the community is it something we really value.”
