Zitec increased its team by over 65 percent during the pandemic, switched permanently to hybrid working mode
Zitec, leader on the IT & digital marketing market in Romania, specialized in the development of digital transformation solutions and services, announces the growth of the team by over 65 percent during the pandemic, from 160 specialists in March 2020, to 265 at present. At the same time, the company has definitively switched to hybrid work mode, which allows team members to decide individually the option to carry out the activity, from the office or remotely.
Zitec aims to expand the team with at least 60 specialists, both in technical programming roles in PHP, iOS, Android, Node.Js, React JS, Quality Assurance, Project Management positions, as well as in the support departments: financial, resources human resources, marketing or sales.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the company, one of the most desired employers in 2021 according to undelucram.ro, has decided that the entire team will operate remotely.
In order to decide the way Zitec will continue to adopt, but also out of the desire to take into account the preferences of all team members, the company conducted an internal survey regarding the options in which they want to operate. According to the survey, over 60 percent of colleagues want to work from home, 20 percent want to work from the office, and 20 percent prefer a hybrid way of working, both at home and at the office. Thus, the members of the Zitec team have the possibility to work exclusively from home, to return to the office when they want and, moreover, to choose to work at any of the company’s headquarters in Bucharest or Brașov, depending on the way they work. they consider it effective for them.
“We preferred not to impose a rigid policy at the company level on how to work post-pandemic and we decided to let things settle naturally, based on the principle that we value flexibility, but also taking responsibility within teams. Therefore, we decided to move to a hybrid way of working, so that each member of the team can choose the best option for him. We continue to offer our colleagues stability, security and support in managing this pandemic context with all the changes it has generated, while maintaining a high level of transparency and communication throughout the company, so that we can prevent early any risk that could arise with the hybrid way of working,” said Florentina Greger, Chief Talent Experience Officer in the Zitec team.
