First intake successfully completes WilsonHCG’s Sourcing Academy programme in Bucharest
WilsonHCG’s first intake of candidates has successfully completed its newly developed Sourcing Academy programme in Bucharest.
The academy was created to help people with little or no recruitment experience become trained talent acquisition specialists.
Each applicant participated in a six-week training programme involving a variety of learning methods including workshops, sprints, roleplay and assessments. The first five applicants, all with different backgrounds, have graduated and are now working at WilsonHCG full-time.
Commenting on the success of the programme, Lee White, Director, Strategic Sourcing EMEA at WilsonHCG, said: “We launched the sourcing academy to help people gain the skills needed for a successful career in talent acquisition. The good thing about the programme is that much of the training is delivered by team members under the watchful eye of our learning and development team. We’ve seen how effective peer-to-peer learning is at WilsonHCG and wanted to recreate this in the academy. The first cohort is now working within the business and will continue to receive mentoring as they develop within their new roles. After such a successful launch, I’m looking forward to the next intake and seeing tomorrow’s talent develop.”
