RepsMate gets ready for a round of financing of over 350,000 Euros and targets the European market
RepsMate, the only startup in Romania that automates the quality and compliance of discussions in call centers is preparing for a new round of financing.
The planned amount will exceed 350,000 Euros and will be used for expansion in two more countries, product adjustments and the acquisition of new customers.
At this moment, the team, which has reached 4 full-time and 3 part-time members, makes the installations at the first two call centers that have become clients. Projects for eight other call centers in industries such as telecommunications, banking, retail and healthcare are in the final stages. RepsMate aims to improve the quality of conversations between customers and companies with a solution based on artificial intelligence, which combines language recognition, deep learning, emotion recognition. In this way, aggregate data about customer perceptions are obtained, conversation scripts can be adapted, personalized training programs for operators can be created, shortening the learning and response time according to customer expectations.
“RepsMate improves sales quality by translating emotions and the context of conversations. In current practice, the quality of conversations is checked by randomly listening to a maximum of 5% of all calls. Now, we offer the possibility to analyze all conversations, on all voice, text, video channels, although during this period we focus on the voice part. The tool proposed by us answers the question “what customers really want” and helps not only sales but also provides useful information in adjusting and designing offers and products,” says Alin Roșca, founder of RepsMate.
The solution can be accessed both in the cloud, in compliance with all GDPR provisions, but also on-premises.
Behind the RepsMate solution, there are several modules, such as speech recognition, learning, noise elimination, speaker separation, emotion analysis. For each module, the team works to increase performance, reaching high accuracy parameters, for example 97% in the case of speaker separation processes or over 92% in the speech recognition segment. The company estimates revenues of up to 100,000 Euros by the end of 2021 and an increase of 5 times to 10 times higher in 2022, depending on the date of obtaining financing and completing the development of the current version for customers already interested in the RepsMate platform .
“From the initial rounds of financing of 115,000 Euros, we have progressed a lot, both from the perspective of the product and the organization. We have a well-defined product and established adaptation methodologies, we have 10 clients, an Advisory Board composed of 11 people with experience in growing startups, practically for each specialization that we have to integrate in our development. The platform is easy to use, includes RepsMate innovations, which gives it uniqueness and provides very accurate overall reporting. The startup was founded in 2020 by Alin Roșca, George Tarida and Mihai Guran. The team now has 7 members, 4 full time and 3 collaborators. The company received 50,000 euros from investors of the association TechAngels Romania, in January 2021 and a convertible loan of 65,000 from business angels and Cleverage VC.
