Brazilian company VTEX appoints new chief for the operations in Romania

Software solutions provider for e-commerce market VTEX names Cristi Movila as country manager for the company’s operations in Romania. The new manager took over from Ionut Farcas, who was in charge with the management of local operations since 2018, when the company opens its first office in Romania.

In the new role, the VTEX country manager will consolidate VTEX’s position in Romania, “so that the company becomes the main provider of e-commerce solutions for the local market and for Central and Eastern Europe and an experienced partner for our clients. We will create a strong team in Romania that, together with our global teams, will provide the best e-commerce solutions for large and medium-sized companies,” says Cristi Movilă, VTEX Romania’s country manager.
