Bogdan Putinică and Alex Balint launch Outcome1.AI, the Romanian start-up entering the European race for Digital Employees and Frontier AI
Bogdan Putinică, one of Romania’s most prominent technology leaders, and Alex Balint, an AI infrastructure expert, are launching Outcome1.AI, a European AI start-up building Digital Employees for small and medium-sized enterprises and entering Europe’s race for Frontier AI and governed digital work. The platform is designed to expand SMEs’ execution capacity by enabling them to hire Digital Employees for clearly defined business roles through a monthly subscription. Each Digital Employee is assigned to a single business role, operates within defined authority limits and keeps work moving through to completion or escalation, with supporting evidence and human oversight.
Outcome1.AI contributes to Europe’s technological sovereignty by building critical digital workforce infrastructure under European legislation and operational standards. The start-up is initially operating in Romania and plans to expand into Greece, Spain and Poland in the next stage. It is supported by the start-up programmes of leading technology partners, including Microsoft for Startups, AWS Activate, NVIDIA Inception and ElevenLabs Startups.
“I believe digital work can complete the tasks that a company has never been able to fully cover with its existing workforce. We created Outcome1.AI so that a company can integrate a clearly defined digital role, set its objectives and boundaries and increase its capacity while keeping decisions in human hands. An SME should be able to hire work capacity in the same way it hires a person for a role, with a predictable salary it can budget for—not license a tool and hope it can find someone to operate it. I also believe that this pillar of the economy must be built in Europe, under European legislation, in Europe’s languages, by people who have managed and built P&Ls in these markets, because a future rented from companies outside Europe is a future that someone else can change at any time,” said Bogdan Putinică, CEO and co-founder of Outcome1.AI. Bogdan Putinică has extensive expertise across multiple business areas and is recognised for his ability to build teams, innovate and deliver results in dynamic and complex markets across Europe and Asia, where he led Microsoft’s operations as General Manager.
“The true measure of this technology is not how human it sounds, but how reliably it gets the work done. I have built infrastructure at a global scale, from payments to retail, and have seen the same pattern every time: AI demos are cheap, but production is unforgiving. An agent that sounds impressive in a demo and one you can trust with an invoice, a contract or a compliance decision are two entirely different things. We built Outcome1.AI by tackling the technical challenge of combining Frontier AI capabilities with the safeguards a real company needs: accurate sources, clearly defined permissions, relevant context, evidence and a clear escalation path,” said Alex Balint, CTO and co-founder of Outcome1.AI. Alex Balint is a technology leader with more than 22 years of industry experience, including over 15 years in leadership positions and more than six years in Big Tech, at companies such as Microsoft, Amazon and Stripe. He is recognised for his thought leadership in technology, AI infrastructure and building engineering organisations.
