PIN Awards 2026, one of the most important initiatives dedicated to the regional tech industry, officially announces the nominations for this year’s edition. The selected companies, projects and professionals reflect the dynamics and maturation of the regional technology ecosystem, as well as the impact of the initiatives developed in areas such as education, community, innovation and organizational development.
This year’s edition will bring together IT industry leaders, entrepreneurs, startups, representatives of academia and local communities to celebrate performance, collaboration and contribution to the development of the regional technology ecosystem.
The organizers received over 100 nominations from community and industry representatives, given the impact of the projects, innovation, relevance to the ecosystem and the results generated in the last year. Of these, 60 nominations were valid and sent to the PIN awards 2026 jury for voting.
“Every year, the PIN Awards brings to the fore people, companies and initiatives that actively contribute to the development of the regional tech ecosystem. The nominations in this edition show the maturation of the community and its ability to generate relevant projects, with a real impact on education, business, innovation and organizational development.”, said Dan Zaharia, Co-organizer of PIN Awards.

Projects
For the six categories, Education Initiative of the Year, Top Employer Branding Initiative, Best Tech Initiative in Moldova and Prize for the Impact in Community, CSR Initiative of the Year and Office Development of the Year, 38 final nominations were validated. The category with the most nominations from both the organizational and educational environments was Education Initiative of the Year.
Companies
The organizers confirmed 14 nominations in the following categories: Startup-Up of the Year, New entrant of the Year, IT Company of the Year and Shared Services Center of the Year. Most of the nominations were submitted by the public for the IT Company of the Year category.
People
For the two categories in this section, Manager of the Year and Tech of Woman of the Year are 8 candidates who will be chosen by vote by the jury.

The winners will be announced at the PIN Awards 2026 gala, an event that will bring together representatives of the tech industry, entrepreneurs, leaders of local communities and partners of the regional ecosystem.
