EasyPay digitalizes reception in clinics across Romania, with an investment of over €500,000 in 2026. The self-service digital reception eliminates queues, reduces waiting times, and cuts operational costs by up to 30%
EasyPay, one of the leading providers of self-service terminals and services locally, with operations in 28 countries, is launching an innovative digital reception solution for medical clinics, with a total investment expected to exceed €500,000 in 2026. The digital reception takes over repetitive front-desk administrative tasks and transforms the patient experience into a fast, fully digital, queue-free process.
The EasyPay solution automates patient check-in, scheduling, and payment processes, reducing waiting times at reception by up to 55% and enabling patients to manage their interaction with the clinic quickly and easily, in a process that takes less than 3 minutes on average. At the same time, the digital reception significantly streamlines front-desk operations for medical clinics. Specifically, the solution reduces the volume of administrative tasks at reception by up to 60%, eliminates errors related to payments and patient data entry, and optimizes operational costs by up to 30%.
“Reception is the first real point of contact between the patient and the clinic, and the experience sets the tone for the entire medical interaction. Through our digital reception solution, we aim to eliminate repetitive tasks and provide clinics with a tool that simplifies administrative processes without replacing human interaction – on the contrary. It is becoming increasingly clear that the direction in healthcare is one where technology handles operations, while people remain where they truly matter: in the interaction with the patient,” said Serghei Fraseniuc, CEO of EasyPay.
Based on EasyPay terminals integrating specialized medical software solutions such as iStoma, the digital reception has already been implemented in the first clinics in Romania, marking a premiere in the digitalization and automation of access to private medical services. This year, EasyPay aims to roll out the solution in approximately 100 medical clinics across Romania, with a target of expanding to 300 units over the next 2–3 years.
“We are seeing across our ecosystem that digitalization has become a necessity for most clinics in recent years. Automating reception through the EasyPay solution, integrated with the specialized medical software iStoma, is a natural step for innovation-driven clinics that aim to both enhance the patient experience and optimize administrative processes, eliminating redundant activities and creating solid premises for faster business scaling”, said Ionuț Botorogeanu, creator of iStoma.
The need for digitalization in medical services is driven by a shortage of administrative staff and the growing volume of patients in private clinics across Romania, making solutions that reduce reliance on manual processes and bring greater operational predictability increasingly critical. At the same time, patient expectations are becoming more aligned with standards seen in retail or banking: fast, clear, and autonomous experiences, including in payment and scheduling. In this context, self-service solutions are emerging as a natural extension of digitalization, enabling clinics to standardize workflows, manage collections more efficiently, and support the scalable growth of medical networks in a controlled and replicable way.
“At MONZA Dental, continuous investment in cutting-edge technology is part of our commitment to patients. Implementing the digital reception helps us enhance the patient experience, reduce waiting times by optimizing repetitive processes, and meet the expectations of a younger generation of patients who prefer fast and intuitive digital solutions. For us, what matters most is that technology does not replace human interaction, but rather enhances it, for the benefit of both patients and our team”, said Bianca Matei, Marketing Manager of MONZA Dental clinics, part of the MONZA ARES Group.
