SCC Services Romania invests 1.5 million Euro in the new Ideo office building
SCC Services Romania recently opened a new company location within Ideo office building in Iasi, following an investment of 1.5 million Euro. The new office of 4400 sqm has been leased for ten years and will accommodate 600 workplaces in the next decade, according to the company.
The launch event included a debate with the topic of the foreign investments in Iasi, in the presence of local authorities and personalities such as: H.E. Mr. Andrew Noble – Ambassador of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain in Romania, Sir Peter Rigby, founder of Rigby Group and SCC Group and James Rigby, CEO of SCC Global as well as local authorities representing the mayor-ship, city council and Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi.
According to Mihai Bondar, GM of SCC Services Romania, „the company relies on technologies of the future that make us more operationally efficient and that create cost advantages, in order to offer our employees not only the optimal working conditions, but also a variety of personal and professional development opportunities.”
Present at the event, Bogdan Pitigoi, president of Tester Grup, the developer of Ideo building, underlined the local potential in Iasi for IT specialists as one of the main destinations for investors in Europe, US and Asia, as well as the pioneering role of SCC Services in the development of the IT services in Romania since 2006.
