Zitec, IT & digital marketing solutions provider in Romania announced a turnover up to seven million Euro in 2019. The increase stands for 34 per cent growth over previous year’s result and above the average business growth y-o-y which is estimated at 24 per cent.
For this year, Zitec Zitec relies on the development and growth of its own products, but also on consolidating its position among the top digital marketing service providers.
In 2019, Zitec continued its strategic partnerships with customers in the process of digital transformation, from various industries, nationally and internationally renowned, such as: Sameday, Flanco, eMag, PayU, Credit Europe Bank or iELM. The company also marked the start of new collaborations last year, both with customers in Romania and with customers from abroad. These include: Decathlon, eON, Porsche Romania, Arctic, Beko, Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, MagiCAMP, Strini, The Wine Society or National Health Service Scotland (NHS).
In 2019, the company grew and consolidated its Digital Marketing division, which generated total business of 770.000 Euro, three fold the previous year. Also, the division has expanded its team of specialists, from 6 colleagues at the beginning of last year to 16 specialists with Google AdWords and Google Analytics certifications, to cover the increased number of customers. At the same time, Zitec has been a Google AdWords certified company since 2011, and since 2017 it is also a Google Premier Partner agency.
In September, Zitec took over the teams and portfolios of the agencies Bright and Symbolic, two web-design, e-commerce, software development and digital marketing companies, which registered a combined turnover of 450,000 euros in 2018. The acquisition of the two companies aimed both at expanding the customer portfolio and increasing the team.
Also in 2019, Zitec has become the only official Romanian company for some of the most important e-commerce platforms worldwide: Magento and VTEX. Zitec has over 16 years experience in developing solutions for online stores worldwide, delivering numerous projects for clients such as: eMAG, Flanco, Altex, Zonia, iELM, Tech-Con, Noriel, Urban Monkey, Paravion etc. For cloud-based solutions, Zitec registered a growth of 68 per cent in 2019, reaching 600.000 Euro.
“In 2019, we focused our efforts on diversifying the services we offer our clients both in Romania and abroad, as well as on expanding the client portfolio, which is reflected in the growth recorded last year. We will continue this year also the investments in the development of our own Zitec products, but also in strengthening our position in the digital marketing solutions market. At the same time, the partnerships we concluded last year with the most important e-commerce platforms strengthen our position as a strategic partner of our customers in the online commerce industry,” said Alexandru Lăpușan, CEO and Co-Founder of Zitec.
The office blood donation campaign launched by Zitec and named #cei1024 continued successfully in 2019, reaching more than 5,300 donors, which together have saved 16,000 lives. Last year, the campaign received the distinction “CSR Project of the Year”, within the ANIS Romania Gala, but also the “Social responsibility in health” award, awarded by Romanian CSR Awards. Currently, more than 65 organizations from fields such as IT, finance, travel, retail, health or public institutions participate in the program.
