Nominations started for PIN AWARDS 2025, the regional TECH industry gala

PIN Awards 2025, the gala that celebrates technology performance and innovation in the North-Eastern region of Romania and the Republic of Moldova, announces the opening of the nomination period.

The event, in its 8th edition, will take place on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in Iași at the AGORA conference center in Iași.

Organized by the team of the PIN Association for the Promotion of Technology and Creative Industries, the gala aims to recognize and highlight the people, companies, projects and initiatives that contribute to the development of the regional TECH ecosystem.

🟨 Nominations are open until May 20, 2025. Anyone can submit proposals – be it teammates, project partners or relevant community actors. The registration form is available on the official website: www.pinawards.ro

🏆 Categories of the PIN AWARDS 2025 Gala The awards will be awarded in three sections (Companies, Projects, People), each of which is divided into a total of 14 categories, presented on the website www.pinawards.ro. The Special Jury Prize and the Prize for the Entire Activity will be awarded directly by the jury and will not be subject to nomination. For each category, details and judging criteria are available online.

🔁 PIN Awards 2024 Retrospective At the previous edition, over 230 participants from Romania and the Republic of Moldova were present at the gala. Among the winners were emerging startups, established IT companies, educational projects and initiatives with social impact. The 2024 edition demonstrated once again that Iași and the entire region are capable of generating value, talent and competitive solutions at an international level.

The gala will include:

✅ keynote speakers: Romek Lubaczewski (PwC Poland) and Elias van Herwaarden (Location Perspectives)

✅ panel discussion on the main trends in the field

✅ award ceremony

✅ networking sessions with industry leaders The judging will be carried out by a jury consisting of industry professionals, representatives of the press and academia, and the event will also be broadcast online.
