M247 Europe announces the expansion of its global network with three new Points of Presence (POP) in Helsinki, Atlanta and Chicago, for the delivery of colocation and cloud services.

The Helsinki POP is already operational, with services being delivered through the Equinix HE7 data center, located near the Finnish capital. The location is strategic, connecting Europe with the Baltic countries and the CIS region. In addition, M247 Europe is expanding into the United States, with two new locations (Atlanta and Chicago) that will become operational in the immediate future.

With these new launches, M247 Europe’s global network reaches 53 points of presence on all continents, which represents an important competitive advantage and a unique benefit for the company’s customers. The 53 points of presence are interconnected with high-performance 10, 50 or +100 Gigabit communication buses.

The company also announced that its development plans include the opening of five new points of presence in locations in North America (Boston and Vancouver), Africa (Johannesburg), Asia (Taipei) and Europe (Marseille).

These new facilities will become operational in 2025 and 2026, through consistent investments in business partnerships and high-performance technology. For example, an online game developer will be able to offer users in Scandinavian countries better access by hosting servers in the Helsinki POP, compared to a more remote location, such as, for example, the country of origin.
