ANIS 2024 Scholarships: 26 finalists entered the final evaluation stage. The winners of the 15 scholarships from this edition will be announced on November 7
ANIS, the Employers’ Association of the Software and Services Industry, today announces the finalists for the seventh edition of the ANIS Scholarships program.
Among the 67 projects registered by university assistants, lecturers and PhD students from most university centers in Romania, an absolute record since the start of the program, 26 are on the list of finalists and have passed the final evaluation stage. The 26 finalist projects compete to win one of the 15 scholarships worth 5,000 euros each, awarded at this edition of the program by ANIS member companies.
The winners will be announced at the ANIS 2024 Scholarship Gala, on November 7, an event that will take place in the Aula Magna of the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest.

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
- Ana-Sabina Uban, lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at “Universitatea Bucharest”, who enrolled the “LLMs & cognition (Large models of language and human cognition)” project.

335,000 euros – the value of the scholarships awarded in the previous 6 editions In the last six years, through the ANIS Scholarships program, 67 teaching projects have benefited from sponsorships, which have obtained grants with a cumulative value of 335,000 euros. In total, in the previous editions, 211 projects were registered, coming from 51 faculties, from 14 university centers.
At the same time, the program generated several collaborations between companies and academia on R&D projects.
