Romanian company Red Point Software Solutions acquires Ness Technologies Ro

Red Point Software Solutions, the only SAP Platinum partner in Romania, acquires Ness Technologies Ro, part of Ness Digital Engineering, present on multiple markets globally.

The acquisition comes as part of Red Point Software Solutions’ strategy to deploy SAP solutions in the cloud. Thus, the company seeks to strengthen its position on the local market by increasing the number of SAP specialists to support organizations in the digitization process. Ness Digital Engineering, of which Ness Technologies Ro was a part before the acquisition, is a global company that provides digital consulting through large-scale engineering services. The talent network includes more than 5,000 engineers in 11 innovation centers in the US, Eastern Europe (including Romania) and India.

By taking over Ness Technologies Ro, Red Point Software Solutions aims to continue developing its relationship with the software giant SAP in Romania by diversifying its product portfolio, with a strong focus on cloud solutions. These include solutions such as SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud or Private Cloud, dedicated to streamlining and optimizing operations through real-time data-based decisions, purchasing optimization, improving sales and customer service, efficient tracking of production flows and the chain supply as well as a complete financial management. The portfolio also includes software solutions specific to individual fields within organizations, such as SAP SuccessFactors for human resources processes or SAP Sales & Service Cloud for customer relationship management, but also solutions dedicated to the utility sector, such as SAP Industry-Specific Solution for Utilities (IS-U).

Thus, through the acquisition, the Red Point team increases with a total number of 30 SAP consultants and 20 new clients, and another 35 are added to the number of ongoing projects.

The company has signed long-term contracts with the main players in this industry, such as E.ON, Delgaz Grid, Enel (company taken over by the Greek group PPC), CEZ (current EVRYO), or Rompetrol.
