Regista, the most used application for digitization in 2023 as well
Regista, the solution for automating and streamlining processes in public institutions and private companies in Romania, sheds light on the progress made by public institutions in 2023 through the digitalization application, and quantifies the impact on the development of modern Romania in its course for the efficient development of the state.
The year 2023 brought for Regista the increase in the number of clients and the diversification of the portfolio by adding, in addition to the administrative-territorial units, new categories of public institutions that began to take concrete steps in the direction of digitization. Regista is becoming the preferred solution for digitizing hospitals and educational institutions.
At the end of 2023, Regista reached 1,200 institutional clients across the country, an increase of 30% compared to 2022. The evolution of the number of users also resulted in a 51% increase in turnover compared to 2022. Although the growth rate slowed slightly during the past year, Regista maintains its 1st place in Romania within SICAP, in terms of the number of digitized public institutions. Regista is seeing significant growth among new institutional areas looking to digitize their processes through the solution.
During 2023, the company started partnerships with over 200 schools, high schools and higher education institutions in Romania. Percentage-wise, it is a 73% increase compared to 2022 of the portfolio in the educational area. Institutions in the medical field are increasingly turning to Regista to digitize their internal processes. In 2023, the number of medical units in Romania in the Regista portfolio will reach 22.
Regista has improved the portfolio of modules available to customers The most used module in the Regista suite continues to be the electronic registry, found in the collaboration packages for all customers of the solution. In the top of the use of modules, follow those of e-Government (used by 68% of customers) and Online Payments (used by 9% of customers). The most significant growth for a module was recorded in 2023 by the new identity identification module at the institution’s premises, now used by more than 48% of customers.
The year 2023 brought news for Regista and regarding the modules available for institutions and end customers:

Thus, in 2023 we focused on these new partnerships and facilitated their access to become modern, digitized institutions, with the help of the Regista solution and the expertise of our digital consulting team. Regarding the development of new functionalities, we aimed to remain a competitive, complex, accessible and developed solution and in accordance with the legal regulations in force; thus, we concentrated our efforts to develop new modules especially needed for UATs”, said Edward Crețescu, General Manager Regista.
Gala Regista 2024, the starting point for the public-private partnership, regarding the digitization of Romania. On February 1, 2024, Regista organized the third edition of the Regista Gala, to celebrate and award the most significant digital advances made during 2023 by public institutions in Romania that use the Regista solution.
The award for the most digitized institution in the country was awarded to the National Authority for Consumer Protection. At the same time, the Argeș Veterinary and Food Safety Directorate won the award for the most important digital progress in 2023.
The gala was also a real success among the public. The third edition had more than 60,000 views online, more than 4 times more than the previous edition. In 2024, Regista aims to attract a larger number of customers and end users, focusing on the increased interest of educational institutions and those in the healthcare sector. At the same time, new modules will be released throughout the year, developed in accordance with the suggestions and requirements of customers who already use the Regista solution.
