Radacini Group Foundation – “Scholarships for rural students” program expands nationwide
The ninth edition will offer 30 scholarships, each worth 5000 lei/student/school year
Radacini Group Foundation is launching the ninth edition of its scholarship programme for rural students, continuing its commitment to support the education and development of talented young people in rural communities. This year, the program makes a significant change by removing territorial limitations so that it’s open to all rural 8th grade students throughout Romania. The deadline for submission of applications is 7 July 2024.
Through this project, Radacini Group Foundation aims to offer students with high academic potential and limited financial resources the opportunity to continue their studies in prestigious colleges in major cities, benefiting from scholarships throughout high school. The project is open to 8th grade students attending rural secondary schools across the country. Recipients must demonstrate outstanding academic ability, exemplary ethical conduct, voluntary involvement and results in school competitions.
“We are delighted to launch this new edition of our scholarship programme, giving rural students the opportunity to pursue their academic dreams and reach their full potential. We want to contribute to increasing the number of talented and educated young people in rural areas and we are proud to be with them on this journey,” said Milica Madadi, President of Radacini Foundation Group.
This edition of the programme continues the tradition of offering 30 scholarships, each worth 5000 lei per school year (500 lei/month/student), to cover the costs of accommodation, maintenance, school supplies and other necessities, so that the beneficiaries can maintain their outstanding academic results and obtain a high school diploma in a top high school, preparing them for university entrance. As in previous years, scholarships will be automatically extended if the recipient continues to demonstrate outstanding performance in learning and exemplary behavior in accordance with the standards set by the educational institution in which they are enrolled.
The deadline for submitting applications is 7 July 2024. More information about the programme can be found on the Radacini Foundation Group website: https://radacini.ro/grup/fundatie.
The “Scholarships for rural students” programme will end its eighth edition at the end of this school year, with a total of 149 beneficiaries, i.e. the fifth generation of full secondary school graduates. All scholarship recipients from previous editions are currently students at top Romanian universities, some have graduated and others are currently studying for a Master’s degree. Thus, society will benefit from well-trained young people in various fields.
